Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask

As you guys know, I have been trying to get glowy skin in like FOREVER! Today I will bring you my thoughts on the Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask. I have tried sheet masks before and as this one is said to be ‘infused with an intense glow-boosting formula’, I had to give it a try. Garnier have several masks within this range however, the reason I decided to go with the Sakura sheet mask this time, was because I had recently found a routine that I was happy with and just wanted to give my skin an added boost; following the claims that this mask ‘Intensely rehydrates skin’ and ‘Restores rosy glow’.

The Mask

The mask was folded neatly into the packaging, with one side having a blue protective film which needed removing once the white side was place around the contours of your face. In my opinion, it was rather handy to have the blue film as an indication of which way the mask were to be positioned. Garnier were not at all stingy with the product as the mask was drenched in serum, but this meant that it was very slippery and hard to grip initially without much spillage.

Application

Once I was able to remove the mask from the packaging, I placed this onto my face spreading the sheet with my fingers around the remaining areas. Whilst doing so, I was very mindful of how much pressure to apply as I didn’t want to waste any product with excess force, therefore applied gently. The mask recommendations were to leave this on for 15 minutes, but being the rebel that I am, I left this on for around 20 minutes in the hope to reap maximum rewards.

Removal

When my time was up, I removed the mask a lot faster than I did applying it. I put this back in the packaging and massaged the excess serum into my skin with a cotton pad. The end result left my skin feeling very smooth, but unfortunately that was it for me. I didn’t see this radiant skin that I had hoped for and was left a little underwhelmed following the build up.

Overall

In a nutshell, I do not feel that I would reach for another sheet mask in a hurry as I much prefer clay masks. Don’t get me wrong, I have seen others use these masks and get great results but not so much for me. Perhaps I need to be more consistent with them and give more of the masks from the range a try? Sadly I don’t see that happening for now. I will continue with the masks that I have in my collection and perhaps try something new when I am running low.

Have you tried any of the Garnier Sheet Masks? Or any other branded sheet masks? I’d love to hear how these worked for you!

First of all – loving the photography here! Second of all – it’s a shame this product didn’t quite work for you – skin care can be so hit and miss. I would also love to know how to get glowy skin – so if you do find something that works – let me know 😉

Thank you so much Kemi! I know right, I really wanted to love this but I think personally I will stick to clay masks. Perhaps I could try others in the range and get different results – who knows. And girl, the hunt is real! You let me know if you have any recommendations. Thanks for reading x
