Why It’s OK to lose your blogging mojo pt.2

Why It's OK to lose your blogging mojo pt.2

There was never meant to be  part 2 to this post but it showed soon after I really did lose all the will in me to blog. I just couldn’t bring myself to do anything blog related. I still do not think I’ve fully gotten out of the funk but I’ve decided I’m not going to be too hard on myself with blogging.

When I first decided to start blogging, I chose to do it as a hobby. Nothing has changed in that respect but as time was going by, I took it more seriously. Creating that benchmark for myself was both a good and a bad thing because yes, I created a standard of blogging which I would aim for (and mostly stick to) but then it was bad because I would feel guilty if I didn’t keep up with my ‘blogging schedule’. How silly does that sound?

I never wanted to (and still don’t) force blog posts just to have anything on Shannon Kara. That’s not something I want for this creative space of mine. I want to put out content I love and enjoy and am proud of and I will never do anything less than. It is very easy to think you are shit at something when others seem to excel at the very same thing but guess what, we all run our own race. Never worry about others as we do not know what battles they face. I’ve said it before and I will say it again as cliche as it sounds, what is meant for you won’t pass you by!

It’s OK to fall sometimes, as long as you get back up again. Don’t worry about what others may think, do what makes you happy. Blogging or otherwise. It’s not the first time I have lost my blogging mojo and I have touched on this before in a few posts which you can find herehere and here. What do you do when you hit a blogging rut?

Thank you for reading and hope to see you on my next post!

Keep up to date with me on Social Media and come say hi!

The truth in this! Sometimes you just have to take a step back to come back refreshed and better than before. Better to step back , take a break to return and provide valuable content than consistently posting mediocre content just to say that you did.

Exactly! I think it’s too easy for us to put pressure on ourselves to keep up appearances in blogging. Thank you for reading x
