So it’s finally Friday which means dress down day in the office for many men and women, but what does that mean for your personal style – are you Fit For Friday?

Fit For Friday

Friday Fri-Yay in the office is usually the one day of the week that people don’t mind coming into work for, with the weekend drawing near the atmosphere tends to be more relaxed, especially if after work drinks are on the cards! With many people working in a fast paced formal environment, it can be hard to dress in a way that translates a day in the office type look, to an after work social look. In collaboration with T.M.Lewin, I bring my take on a few looks for both the ladies and gents in the office!

For the looks above (Option A), these are still very focused on formal office attire however, there remains an element of style in the pieces put together. As we are transitioning from Winter into Spring, I have kept the colours quite cool toned for each look with black, white and navy being the focus colourway. The woman’s outfit has been put together alongside other brands which are linked below. The man’s outfit can be shopped completely from the T.M.Lewin site with links below.

For the second outfits (Option B), you will notice that the majority of the items are the same with the exception of a few. This is because being Fit For Friday is about being able to go straight from the office and out for drinks. However, I have tweaked the outfits with a few items mainly for comfort reasons as being in a suit all day can feel quite restricting. The slim fit shirt can be worn more comfortably by removing the tie and undoing the top button. Changing out of the slim fit suit trousers into chinos brings a more casual approach to the outfit and will allow a man to feel more relaxed. Finally paired with all white Converses, this takes the outfit from work mode to weekend mode!
