Many of you could possibly think I’m crazy to not have bought any NYX products until now, but hey, I like to ensure I am buying things because I like them and not be because everyone else is jumping on the bandwagon. I also like to see a product in it’s true form and not just online. Recently much to my surprise, my local Boots stocked a NYX counter and this couldn’t have come at a better time – ready for the festive period. My colleague let me know that this was the case and I couldn’t wait to get down there by lunch time!
I had always wanted to try a few of their lip products, particularly the lip liners as I’ve heard these are ridiculously pigmented and all round of good quality although I didn’t manage to get the shades I had wanted due to the store still receiving stock on some items (please believe I have been checking back daily – LOL). Alongside the lip products, I was looking for a new concealer as I had recently expressed over on my snapchat that I find the LA Girl Pro Concealer can be quite thick at times and so was advised to try the HD concealer. I also really wanted a cream contour palette and a new blush to try. Here’s what I picked up:
NYX Liquid Suede – Downtown Beauty – £6.50
NYX Liquid Suede – Club Hopper – £6.50
NYX HD Concealer – Nutmeg – £5.50
NYX HD Blush – Deep Plum – £5.50
NYX Cream Highlight & Contour Palette – Deep – £12.00
I am yet to try a complete look with all of these products and seeing as I received such a positive reaction to my #MOTD post, I will try to make sure I use these items in my next post to keep up with the *cough cough* ‘weekly’ series that I promised you guys! I am excited to see how I get on with these NYX products as I have stuck to specific brands in the past. Have you used any of these products before? I’d love to hear any other NYX recommendations you may have in the comments below.
Thank you for reading and I will see you on my next post! x
