If you have read my latest post you will know that I had to do a pit stop in duty free! The last time I went away before this which you can read about here I also picked up similar items.
I only bought two lipsticks and an eyebrow pencil because my last one finished unexpectedly – I didn’t realise how much I used it!
The eye brow pencil is a repurchase in the shade Spiked which is described as a ‘Rich Brunette’ colour. What I love about this pencil is the fact you don’t need to sharpen it! The pencil itself is quite thin and I find this really helps to give my eyebrows a natural finish as I can define my brows with fine strokes.
My brows naturally are quite sparse and the hairs quite light so they appear thin and horrible in my opinion.
This picture shows my brows filled in with the pencil without being tidied up with any concealer or anything to show a comparison.
Next I bought two matte lipsticks in the shades Chili and Ruby Woo. The Chili lipstick appears much brighter on my lip than it looks in the pictures however I would tone it down by lining my lips completely with a brown lip liner. When applying the Chili lipstick I found that although this is described as matte, it feels quite creamy. The Ruby Woo however is true to its form with its matte consistency. I’ve always loved a red lip and am glad to finally have this staple in my collection.
Have you got any of these products in your collection? My MAC collection is slowly building and I may show this in another post to come but for now, thanks for reading!
