Well helloooo there! *Waves* I hope you are all well and have missed me as much as I have you! It’s been a while since I have posted so today’s post is all about the LDNmeetup #BigBloggerExpo event I attended on Sunday! This was my second time attending a blogging event of this kind, and this time I went with my friend Grace who blogs at Whimsicalgrace.net – be sure to check her out! This event was held in a hotel close to Regents Park so it was nice for us to take a Sunday stroll afterwards.
There were so many brands, many that I hadn’t heard of and was eager to talk to. It was quite packed so I wasn’t able to get great pictures of all the tables but we started out in the bigger room of the two. The first stop at the #BigBloggerExpo was Jewellery Box!
I really loved how this table was set up! It was so girly and feminine with the petals and heart shapes dressing the table display. The concept behind this brand is ideal for any jewellery lover – especially if you love costume jewellery like me! One thing I highly dislike about fashion jewellery is that it often loses its colour after a while. This is where Jewellery Box present the best of both worlds providing real jewellery at the price of costume jewellery – great right?
Onepiece & Brandbassador
The Onepiece table stood out for me as I was drawn to their snapbacks. I really liked the simplicity yet quirkiness of their logo. To the left of the table they had their very own Onepieces’ which are also known as a good old fashioned onesie to you and I! Onepiece pride themselves on being a premium leisurewear brand bringing forth a simple loungewear – easy like Sunday morning – kinda concept! Brandbassadors working alongside Onepiece on the day also talked to us about connecting bloggers with brands.
Initially I thought Dr.Paw Paw was a lip scrub and oh how I was wrong! In a way I was glad that I was wrong because I learnt much more about the brand from speaking with the team and asking questions. I learnt that the Dr.Paw Paw range has a selection of multi purpose balms which can be used for almost all areas of the body, even used as a blusher! Who doesn’t love the fact that you can throw one item in your bag to use for multiple reasons? It’s great! We were also told that as well as the balm, Dr.Paw Paw have a multi purpose hair treatment. Oh and did I mention their cupcakes? Yum, just YUM!
There were other brands on the day that we really enjoyed engaging with. There was an element where we each had to get our cards stamped by the brands once we had visited each stand. The good thing about this was it helped us to engage with the brands and other bloggers by making convo. Finally there was a raffle at the end and I actually WON something which I was happy about because I rarely win anything, but more importantly, the money raised was being donated to charity. It was a shower set, lip balm, body butter and a candle all from Copper Coast which you can see amongst other items we were gifted on the day.
Have you got any bloggers events lined up this year?If so, I’d love to hear when and where in the comments below!
Thanks for reading x
