Happy Monday guys! I can say that this week as it’s the bank holiday so I hope you’re having a good one so far! Today’s post is about the Timeless Truth Charcol Detox Brightening Mask*
Since I’ve returned from my recent holiday, my skin has been terrible so (probably like most people) I’ve been on the lookout to find products that would help to improve its appearance. I have combination skin and I am constantly trying to find products that help to keep the oily areas under control as well as keeping my skin hydrated in other areas. My skin can sometimes look very dull and as I’ve recently returned, my skin has been quite flaky transitioning back to UK weather.
Whilst on the hunt for new products to try, I came across Timeless Truth – Sheetmasks who were kind enough to gift me with a mask of my choice. I opted for the Charcoal Detox Brightening Mask* which is said to brighten, smooth and hydrate the skin which I thought would be ideal for my skin right now.
This mask is one of a huge collection that Timeless Truth have to offer and this in particular is part of the fusion range. The mask has extract of Moso Bamboo Charcoal with ingredients of the mask in a freeze dried powder form which are combined with a serum.
Forgive my scary appearance above but this is how the mask looked once on. The application was quite fiddly as the mask is quite generously dipped in serum so once removed from the packaging, unfolding was quite a task. Once I opened this out, I managed to place this onto my face ensuring the mask openings were in the right place – just. This fit the majority of my face quite well apart from the chin area which was slightly raised. I left this on for around 25 minutes although it has a recommended time of 15-20 minutes.
Overall I found the results of the mask quite impressive. Once removed and my face rinsed, my skin felt smoother and when I asked my mum and sister how my face looked, their response was ‘smooth’ so I believe even after a single use the results were visible. I would be enticed to try this again perhaps with the set of 5 available or try something else from the range.
The only downside for me was how fiddly it was removing the mask from the packaging to unfold and place onto my face, perhaps the fit could be slightly tighter. Overall I would love to introduce these masks into my skin routine to see if they could benefit my skin long term.
*This post contains a mask gifted by TT Masks however all opinions are based on my own experience
Have you ever tried any of TT sheet masks? If so please let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading! xx
