Travel Journal

Hey guys! So this week I’m super excited to bring to you my travel series as I’m leaving on a jet plane! No, I’m not really, but I did want to share with you some holiday posts inspired by my previous post.

On my many travels to TK Maxx, I picked up this cute notepad that reads ‘This Way To Adventure’. May I add that TK Maxx is one of my most favourite places to find these quirky, slogan/motivational notepads amongst other stationary and if you haven’t been I would highly recommend it! Let me know what you get!

The idea behind me choosing this notepad and you may have seen in other posts here and here is that I really want to travel more this year. I do not have any major commitments tying me to anything so why not travel!

I love visiting other countries and being able to appreciate different cultures but this time I wanted to record the memories in my journal! This may be in note or photographic form but most likely a mix of both, I’m not sure I haven’t completely decided yet but reckon it would be fun either way!

Do you have anything similar? How do you use yours? Where would you like to visit this year?

Thanks for reading xx

I love this travel journal! I have never actually kept one myself although I love the idea – I am already keeping a regular journal though. I’m hoping to travel to Stockholm, Croatia and Italy this year and maybe to Bavaria. xx

It’s so cute right? I think you should miss jet setter! Wow go you! I need to join in on some of those trips. I’d love to go to Italy and Croatia too. Let me know how you get on x

This is so cute! Such a great idea. So handy to keep in your bag and write a note down when something happens. Sometimes memories are better than photographs. I kept an online journal type thing when we went to America for our families to read, (which I’m thinking of sharing on my blog)? On days I’m missing it all I go back and read through. Not sure where terry and I will be heading this year. Really fancy Italy or maybe return to Greece, not sure…

Awwww thanks Hannah! That’s such a lovely thought, I know what you mean, the memories are good but I also think pictures really capture a moment so I will try to do both! Greece is lovely, I haven’t been to Italy but want to put it on my list for sure! Thanks for reading xx

Bloody love TkMaxxx! I’ve never thought about documenting my travels like this… I get so caught up in sharing on social media rather than saving the memories for myself 🙁 Will defo look into this for my next holiday! Such a good idea … particularly having a mix of photos and notes.. love it xx

I know right! TKMaxx has it all but their notepads are life . And that’s exactly it, I want to document the memories not only for my socials but for me to keep forever and ever! It’s such a great feeling looking back at where you’ve been so can’t wait to put it to use! xx

I Like this! Travel journals are always a nice way to store memories and also just keep track of where you are in terms of head space and a great way to document your travels. And yeah I think having a travel journal will definitely remind you to book that long awaited flight and whisk yourself off to somewhere nice 🙂 I’m hoping to do a vlog of my trip to South Korea this summer. Haven’t done one before so interesting to see how it will go lol. And your post has definitely got me ready for the summer 🙂

This is a gorgeous journal. I’ve recently started a scrapbook which will mostly contain travelling moments – such a lovely idea!
