April Goals

Hey guys, a new month is upon us and Spring has sprung! Every time we enter a new month it feels like a new chapter, an opportunity to refine and refocus with a set of goals no matter how big or small. Here’s a few I’ve put together a few for the month of April.

Read a book

I’ve challenged myself to read a new book each month although I was bad and missed last month… Oops! But getting back on track, this months book of the month is Gone Girl. I’ve had this for a while now and picked it up on my charity shop book haul. I’ve heard only great things about it and what a way to start the month.

Drink more water

This goal is probably one you see often but I know it’s something I need to do more of. Drinking water has great benefits such as helping with weight loss not to mention healthier looking skin. I try to drink at least 2ltrs a day but struggle at times so any tips would be appreciated!

Eat cleaner

In line with the above goal trying to maintain a healthier lifestyle, eating clean is something I’m really keen on. Yes it’s challenging at times and there’s nothing I’d rather do than pig out on a pile of junk food, but I do feel much better when I eat less processed and more natural foods. I make conscious decisions when food shopping and although healthy eating can be perceived as boring, it can be quite fun with the variety of recipes available.

Exercise more

This is the last on my list in terms of a healthier lifestyle. This is my biggest challenge because I often lack motivation. I have to really push myself to do exercise but once I get started I’m good to go. I really want to be consistent because eating clean and working out go hand in hand for better results.

Blogging

Since I created my blog it was a small hobby for myself but I really enjoy it and want to take it more seriously. Even though I’m still very new to blogging, it has increased my confidence and I thrive on the fact that I have something of my own to put my efforts into. My own slice of happiness on the old internet!

Goals for my blog

  • Improve my blog photography
  • Grow my blog readership alongside my other social medias
  • Work with other bloggers through collaborations/guest posting
  • Work with brands that are relative to my blog content
  • But mostly I just want to have fun with blogging!

    These sound like my goals for every month! I just hope I start sticking to them. I am definitely working on my blog photography. My camera is ok but not brilliant so I “borrow” my husbands DSLR sometimes and have a play. It really does make a difference but I think I need him to teach me how to use it properly because I’m a bit clueless!

      I know! The fitness goals are definitely my weak points but if I can become consistent I’m pretty sure I can stick to them! (Well o hope so lol) and I currently have a bridge camera that I use, but need to practice, practice, practice! Thank you for reading x

    First of all, that photography is gorgeous!! I love this post idea so much – and I relate with pretty much all of your goals! Also, if you’re looking to drink more water I really recommend the app ‘Hydro Coach’ – I’e been using it for around 2 weeks and I’ve drank so much more water (I used to drink hardly any before!!) I can already see differences with my skin too!

    I like to try and set myself goals every month as well! Drinking more water is always a great idea and easy enough if you just keep reminding yourself. I always feel so much better on days where I’ve managed to remember to drink lots!

    I’m getting much better than I was before, I never used to drink any but my intake daily has come along way, still could be better though lol. Download an app that reminds you to drink! And I will do Hun, hoping to read on the plane so should get through it soon I hope so, if I don’t set myself targets how will I ever grow? Thanks for reading Hun xx

    Yes girl hi 5 on those blogging goals mine are similar I hope you achieve them! My skin is suffering with a capital S because I am not drinking enough water I need to try harder x
