Hey guys! So this is another mini review this time on a few products from the Tea Tree range by The Body Shop.

Skin Routine

For years and years I’ve had ok skin with few blemishes and marks, nothing major but I do not have an even skin tone. I have combination skin which tends to be oily in my T-Zone and I have tried and battled with many different face washes and scrubs but nothing has ever really blown me away, nor do I have a specific ‘skin routine’ per say.

I am trying to pay more attention to what my skin is telling me and would like a clearer complexion and I’m adopting a skin routine to try to accomplish just that as well as drinking a lot more water – my trusty 2ltrs per day!

I popped into my local Body Shop store on my way home last week and managed to grab a set which was made up of the Tea Tree Cleanser, Toner and moisturiser. This was ideal as I wanted to start my regime with all three products and I got a great deal too.

Benefits of Tea Tree Oil

  • It is great for oily skin absorbing excess moisture
  • Clinically proven to give clearer looking skin
  • Good for acne and blemishes
  • Good antibacterial aid around the household

First Impressions

Cleanser

I have to say I really like this product simply because it is easy to use and is effective. It has a pump application and you do not need to use a large amount to work up a rich lather. I wet my face and then massaged this in thoroughly and after rinsing, my face felt clean and fresh.

Toner

After applying the cleanser, I put a generous amount of toner onto a cotton pad and swept this across my face and I felt a tingling sensation which lasted a few seconds, mainly where I have dry patches on my face.

Lotion/Moisturiser

I found the lotion made my face feel really dry. It gave a nice matte finish but for my preference, this was too dry so I mixed this with my Simple Kind To Skin Moisturiser which when mixed together created a light consistency and restored some moisture in my face.

Conclusion

Overall I would say I am feeling this Tea Tree range from The Body Shop and I am glad that I picked it up. It may sound too early to say but I can see an improvement in my skin already (as do my colleagues)! I am impressed having used this product for only two days, twice per day in the mornings and evenings and will continue with this regime welcoming a nice even skin tone and brighter looking skin! x

This line is my absolute fave! That toner is everything!! I haven’t tried the foam cleanser yet- I use the facial wash from the range and love it! How have you found it so far??

I really loved it when I started using it but I found the toner was a bit too strong for me so I’ve stopped using from the range. I would recommend you try the cleanser. Have you tried the seaweed range from TBS, apparently it’s really good
